Winter Silence

A snowy evening in Boise, held still for a moment before anyone stepped outside.

Adam took this photograph in the early months of 2025, after his family's first real snowfall. The snow was powdery, and the evening was so quiet it felt almost audible. He made this frame first. Then the family went out with the dogs, played in the snow, threw snowballs, and enjoyed the peaceful, mild cold together.

For Adam, the image carries the warmth of that family time and the memories made that evening.

A hushed yard, a warm glow beyond the rooftops, and the pause just before everyone went out to play.
