Peach Skies

Some skies wait until you are already looking up.

Taken near Hamilton, Montana, in July 2025, the day after an awesome, nostalgic concert at the Big Sky Brewing Company Amphitheater in Missoula, this photograph came from a quiet evening with friends: relaxing together under a clear summer sky, the kind of dark only a place with little light pollution can offer.

Like Cotton Candy Life, from the same Montana trip, the sky stopped everyone in place. Every morning and evening of the trip seemed to offer something worth pausing for, and Adam happened to still be awake and watching when this one arrived. The trip itself carried its own weight: a reunion, good friends, shared history, and new memories layered over old ones in a short visit.

The clouds and color took Adam's breath away. The photograph is a reminder to look up, both literally and otherwise. Beauty is often already there. It just asks you to notice.
